Milestone Racing Inc. is Miles Gibson and Wietske Eikelenboom. Miles has been a fixture in the triathlon scene since 2012 when he did his first triathlon at the memorable Coronation Triathlon. And Wietske has been doing triathlon for more than 40 years, including the very first GWN in 1991!
Miles and Wietske have completed numerous IronMan distance races, as well as tons of other cool races like Xterra, World Championships and more.
This duo hosted the St. Albert Kids of Steel triathlon for 25 years. And recently Miles was the Race Director for the St. Albert Sprint Triathlon. He also is a co-founder of the Beat The Base Triathlon at Garrison Edmonton. And both of them have been avid volunteers at GWN, of course.
