Milestone Racing Inc. is Miles Gibson. Miles has been a fixture in the triathlon scene since 2012 when he did his first triathlon at the memorable Coronation Triathlon.
Since then Miles has completed three full IronMan’s, 9 half-Iron distance races and a bunch of other distances. He has competed at four World Championships, including: 2013 ITU World Sprint Championship, 2014 ITU World Championship, 2017 ITU MultiSport World Championship, and the 2018 Xterra World Championship. Miles will be racing Calgary 70.3 for the fifth time this July 2026!
Miles has completed The Great White North Triathlon Half distance five times (2014-2018), and the Olympic distacen twice. Most recently Miles was the Run Captain for GWN from 2023-2025.
Miles was the race director for the St. Albert Sprint Triathlon from 2023-2025, making it into the premier Sprint distance triathlon in Alberta.
He was also the Assistant Race Director / Registration Director for the St. Albert Kids of Steel triathlon from 2014-2023.
By day Miles is a mostly retired Software Developer.
