A single ‘triangle’ loop in Hubbles Lake. Allan Beach features a large sandy area for the start and finish. We use a mass start so seed your self appropriately. This is a calm lake and the course is well marked and we will have a large contingent of lifeguards and kayakers to ensure your safe completion of the first of three disciplines. Volunteers will be on hand to aid in removing wetsuits (if you wear one) in preparation for transition on to the bike.

The Sprint Bike course is a clockwise loop around Hubbles Lake then back to town. After you head out of transition turn right onto Allan Beach Road then turn right on 16A/Parkland HW. Continue west 4km and turn right on Beach Corner Road. Continue north 2.5km and then turn right on Yellowhead HW. Continue east and turn right on HW 779 riding south into Stony Plain. Turn right at 44th Ave, turn right at 50th St, and into T2 at the pavilion to rack your bike. Technical support will be provided on course but make sure you have the appropriate supplies in case of mechanical issues.
5km
The run course takes you out of T2 and onto 50th Street southbound. Turn left on 47th Avenue, follow to 45th Avenue and then turn right and head to the trail system. The turnaround is located at the 2.5km mark, just past the Aid Station, turn around and head back to the pavilion to finish.
