HUBBLES LAKE PUBLIC ACCESS

Take Hwy 16 (Yellowhead) West past Stony Plain.

Turn left at Allen Beach turn-off.

Turn right on first paved road to Clearwater Estates.  There are community mailboxes on the right as you turn.

There is a smallish parking area on the grass to the left, right at the corner. You can park here safely. Ignore the Private property sign on the fence, as long as you don’t hop the fence you are still on public/crown land.

Once parked, walk down the road a short distance to the public access point on the left. I would wear sandals or shoes as it is a gravel path.

Walk to the bottom and then veer to the left, under a canopy of tree branches. There is a small grassy area that you can put on your wetsuit etc. I have never had a problem leaving things there. Then its a short but mucky walk to the water. There may or may not be ducks there, but they will move out of the way, as they want to see if you can actually swim as well as you think you can.

A sign at a residential area reads '53130 RGE RD 13'. Behind the sign is a sign with a map of Clearwater Estates, part of Parkland County, with a background of green trees and grass, and a partly cloudy sky.
A dirt trail in a forested area with multiple signs, including one that says 'No Fires Permitted' and a map of the park.
